An Amateur Choir With a Professional Approach
What started as the Macon Civic Choral in 1975 is now Choral Society of Middle Georgia, a community organization of singer-musicians from across the Central Georgia region. Membership is open to anyone with the desire and ability to sing. Our singers bring a vast array of formal and informal training to the chorus as we explore diverse selections of musical styles, delighting audiences with performances of choral and orchestral works.

To provide musical training for both volunteers from the community and Mercer University students, produce exceptional performances that include both classical and contemporary composers, and preserve the arts through choral music for the cultural enrichment and enjoyment for its members and the Central Georgia area.
